Limousine Etiquette in Belleville, MI; Book Limo Ride in Advance, Proper Way to Get in Vehicle & More

Any time that we experience something for the first time it is normal to feel some anxiety or uncertainty leading up to the event. Even if you think you know all about what is coming up, there is something to be said for the saying “you don’t know what you don’t know.” If you have some anxiety about your upcoming ride in one of A Limo World’s limousines we want to help ease your discomfort by giving you some rules of etiquette for your big day.

Book Limousine in Advance

Our first tip is to schedule your limousine well in advance. Many people make the mistake of waiting too long to schedule their limousine. You would hate to be in charge of renting a limousine for your group and having to tell them that you could not find one because you waited too long to start looking. Here at A Limo World we do our best to accommodate all of our customers but we only have a certain number of vehicles available so when they are gone, they are gone.

Arrive on Time for Group Limo Ride

Once you have scheduled your limousine you will want to make sure that you and all of your guests are on time when the limo arrives. Nothing is worse than sitting in your limo waiting for your last guest to arrive. Arriving late is disrespectful to the other guests and to the driver.

Proper Way to Get in a Limousine

Frequently when people have not ever ridden in a limousine they are not sure of how to get in and out of the limo. We have a few tips for this dilemma. First you will want to let A Limo World’s fantastic driver open and close the doors for you. Part of why you rented a limo for the evening is that you could ride in style, allowing your driver to open and shut the doors is part of that treatment. It can feel awkward to let the driver do this but we ask that you allow them to properly do their job. After the limousine door is open entering and exiting the vehicle can be tricky to navigate. There is a proper way to get in and out of the limousine. When you enter the limo sit your bottom down on the seat and then swing your legs inside the limo. Then slide along the seat until you have reached your seat. When you exit the limousine, you will do this process in reverse.

Don’t Ask Chauffeur to Break the Law

As your driver chauffeurs you around for the day please be respectful of them. Their job is to be polite, respectful, and safely drive you from place to place. Please do not ask them to do anything illegal while you are in the limousine with you. During your drive you are welcome to chat with your driver but please know that it is their job not to initiate long conversations with you. They are there to drive you from place to place while you enjoy the company of the other people that you invited with you.
