Right now the world is reeling with updates on the coronavirus. Countries all over the world are being greatly impacted by this terrible pandemic. You may already know how you can stay safe during this time. Today A Limo World is going to give you some ways that you can keep your family healthy and strong.
Proper Hand Washing Procedure
Experts are repeatedly talking about the importance of washing your hands to help stop the spread of coronavirus. We are all being encouraged to make sure we are using soap and water when we wash. Everyone should be washing their hands for twenty seconds. Many parents are teaching their children to sing the ABC song or Happy Birthday as they wash to hit the twenty second mark.
Maintain Social Distancing
If you have not been actively practicing social distancing it is time to start. Social distancing is a term applied to certain actions taken by Public Health officials to stop or slow down the spread of a highly contagious disease. We are being asked to avoid large gatherings of people. In addition to avoiding large crowds we are also encouraged to stay at least six feet away from others. The point of social distancing is to make it harder to unknowingly spread the disease before you know that you have it. Please make sure that you do your part by practicing social distancing.
Grocery Shopping
At this time, we are being asked to avoid going to the grocery store unnecessarily. Clearly when you need food it is completely fine to go the store but if it is not truly a need please wait. Many people are choosing to do their grocery shopping online. If you do go into the grocery store you will want to carefully wipe down the cart before touching it. You will also want to wash your hands thoroughly when you get home. If you do these things you should be fine.
Physical Health
You will want to continue to treat your body well during this pandemic. Exercising at the gym is not safe but you can still exercise at home. You can also exercise outside at the park or in your yard. Please practice social distancing when you exercise. Eating healthy may be harder than normal during this time because so many of us tend to eat because we are bored and anxious. Do your best to treat your body kindly by eating healthy.
Mental Health
In addition to your physical health you will also want to be aware of your mental health. If you suffer from depression or anxiety you will want to take care of yourself to make sure that your symptoms do not significantly worsen during this stressful time.
